ITAT overturns STCG tax on Gujarat house sale: When Kaminiben from Anand, Gujarat, sold her house for Rs 21.4 lakh in AY 2018-19, which she had originally bought in 2005 for Rs 1.94 lakh, the tax dept issued her tax notices. However, as she was living abroad as an NRI at the time, she could not respond to them.
