Income tax dept releases FAQs on tax deduction on donation under Section Section 80G

Donating to charities offers tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. The Income Tax Department has clarified rules for these deductions. Taxpayers can claim benefits for donations to eligible institutions. Verification is done through Form 10BD. Different donation categories offer varying deduction limits.
