Senior citizens can still secure attractive fixed deposit rates, with some banks offering up to 7.5% for a three-year term on deposits up to Rs 3 crore. While small finance banks lead with these high rates, investors should be aware of deposit insurance limits. TDS on FD interest exceeding Rs 1 lakh can be managed by submitting Form 15H.
