Nitish calls for smooth paddy procurement
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed officials to ensure a smooth paddy procurement process for the 2025-26 kharif season, emphasizing farmer convenience and vigilance against disruptions. The government is providing full support. The procurement period is set from November 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, with a target of 36.85 lakh metric tons.
