Leopard that injured eight people rescued

Panic subsided along the Bihar-Uttar Pradesh border Friday after a leopard, which injured eight people in separate attacks, was tranquilized and rescued. The animal, believed to have strayed from the Valmiki Tiger Reserve, caused fear across several villages before being safely caged and sent to Gorakhpur Zoo. Joint teams from both states conducted the successful operation.
