Civic body grants Rs40L rebate to early property tax payers

Patna Municipal Corporation offered Rs 40 lakh tax relief to over 35,000 property owners for early payments. A 5% rebate is available until June 30. Despite collecting Rs 11 crore, collections are down from last year. PMC is urging taxpayers to pay, with defaulters facing 1.5% monthly interest from October.
