'Villa scam': IPS Prashakha Mathur now put on APO; IAS husband currently abroad

Rajasthan's government has placed IPS officer Prashakha Mathur on Awaiting Posting Order amid an inquiry linked to her husband, IAS officer Shikhar Agrawal. The probe, initiated by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, investigates allegations that Agrawal improperly assisted Goyal Fashions Pvt Ltd, garnering personal benefits. Evidence indicates the couple obtained villas at below-market prices in exchange for such favors. If the claims hold true, Agrawal could face legal repercussions.
