Rereading the menu after ordering isn't indecisiveness, psychology says

When confronted with an abundance of menu options, many diners experience uncertainty in their choices. Research indicates that the way individuals make decisions can greatly affect their levels of regret and satisfaction. Maximisers meticulously analyze their options, while satisficers opt for choices that are good enough. By establishing preferences in advance and restricting options, diners can alleviate indecision, leading to a more enjoyable dining experience and improved decision-making capabilities.
