Netanyahu's comeback bid: What happens if Eisenkot fails to form govt in Israel

Gadi Eisenkot has been tasked with forming a new government after the recent elections. His coalition currently lacks the required seats for a majority, presenting significant challenges. Possible support from Arab parties or ultra-Orthodox factions could aid his efforts. If unsuccessful within 42 days, Benjamin Netanyahu may receive another chance to form a government. This political situation raises the possibility of Israel facing another election if no candidate succeeds.
