Meet Arun Chauhan: Haryana farmer says sweet corn earns him Rs 25 lakh a year

In Manauli, Haryana, Arun Chauhan made a game-changing decision, shifting his farming focus from traditional paddy to sweet corn and vegetables. Inspired by a friend's successful strawberry venture, he now rakes in almost Rs 25 lakh yearly. His transition has sparked a village-wide movement, with more farmers embracing this profitable path. The local markets, notably Delhis Azadpur Mandi, provide lucrative selling avenues while strengthening community sales efforts.
