Idaho hunters kill 12 newborn wolf pups, get $2,000 each in state-backed scheme

Three hunters in Idaho killed 12 wolf pups, receiving up to $2,000 for each animal. The states programme reimburses hunters, raising concerns over the use of taxpayer money. Critics have condemned these actions as a form of bounty hunting, especially targeting newborn pups. Wildlife experts have expressed concerns about the method of killings and potential effects on wolf populations.
