Husband strangled, snake placed beside body: UP court awards death penalty to wife, lover

Ravita and Amardeep received the death penalty for the murder of Amit Kashyap in Meerut. They staged the crime scene to resemble a snakebite, raising initial suspicions among family members. A post-mortem revealed that he had died from strangulation rather than a snakebite. The judge emphasized the need to support Ravita's children following the ruling. Both accused were present for the verdict via video conferencing in court.
