ECI extends SIR in poll-bound Bengal by 2 weeks; final rolls on Feb 28

In a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal, the Election Commission said the decision was taken in compliance with the Supreme Courts February 9 order. Earlier, the final voters list was scheduled to be published on February 14, with elections to follow after completion of the exercise.
