CJPs Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka get 5-day judicial custody over Jantar Mantar trespass

Cockroach Janata Party leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were arrested for violating protest-related regulations. They allegedly breached barricades and entered a protest site designated for demonstrations. Their arrests are a response to ongoing protests against alleged irregularities in electoral rolls. The Delhi Police recently designated new protest venues, moving demonstrations away from the political center. The CJP criticized this move, claiming it weakens public dissent visibility.
