Bought Maruti Invicto, found repainted parts; commission orders Rs 3.6 lakh relief

In a significant ruling, a consumer commission in Kerala has mandated Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd to replace a Maruti Invicto car due to undisclosed repainted parts before delivery. Evidence indicated the vehicle had sustained damage, leading to unexpected repair costs. With the dealer unresponsive to the buyer's complaints, the commission deemed this a clear deficiency of service and directed compliance within 30 days.
