15 policemen suspended after rape of woman inside Jharkhand police station

In Jharkhand, the suspension of fifteen police officers highlights a grave concern following the reported rape of a 20-year-old woman at the Gamharia police station. Initially, nine officers faced suspension for negligence, but the investigation's depth led to the arrest of two sub-inspectors and a constable. The Seraikela-Kharsawan SP has made it clear that harsh penalties await the guilty as the inquiry progresses.
