Watch: Fire engulfs east Delhi residential building, 9 dead

At least nine people were killed after a fire broke out in a residential building in Vivek Vihar, east Delhi in the early hours of Sunday, May 3, 2026. The blaze spread across multiple flats, prompting a large-scale rescue operation. Around 10 to 15 people were rescued, with the injured shifted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
