Trinamool rebels remove Mamata as the party chairperson

Abhishek Banerjee has been removed as party general secretary; former MinisterArup Roy unanimously picked as the new chairperson of the party; the decision was taken by rebel MLAs led by Leader of Opposition Ritabrata Banerjee, who claims support of 65 out of 80 MLAs.
