Kerala court detains Congress MP Shafi Parambil, fines him 1,000 in NH blockade case

Palakkad court issued an arrest warrant against Shafi Parambil last week after he repeatedly failed to appear before it. Vadakara MP then appeared before the court on Tuesday, following which he was detained until the court is adjourned at 5 p.m.
