US shoots down Iranian drones, strikes radar sites near Strait of Hormuz

The US military said it shot down four Iranian attack drones headed towards the Strait of Hormuz and later struck coastal radar sites in Iran. Washington said the action was taken to protect maritime traffic and counter potential threats in the region
