Maharashtra: Speeding vehicle mows down spotted deer in Pune

A spotted deer (chital) was killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle near Bhukum village in Pune`s Mulshi taluka. Forest and police officials reached the spot, and the carcass was sent for a post-mortem. Officials said increasing summer heat is forcing wild animals onto roads, leading to more such accidents
