Yogi Adityanath offers sacred khichdi at Gorakhnath temple on Makar Sankranti

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the sacred Makar Sankranti rituals. He offered Khichdi to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath at the Gorakhnath Temple early Thursday. Lakhs of devotees across the state also visited pilgrimage sites. The festival marks an auspicious beginning for sacred activities. Makar Sankranti signifies the Sun's northward journey, Uttarayan, leading to longer days.
