Worker unions can submit eighth CPC demands till May-end

Employee unions have secured an extension until May 31, 2026, to submit their demands for the eighth pay commission. They are advocating for a doubling of the minimum pay to Rs 69,000 per month, effective January 1, 2026, and a fitment formula of 3.833 for existing employees and pensioners.
