War more than six months would hit global economy, TotalEnergies boss says

Global economies face serious damage if the Middle East conflict extends beyond six months. TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanne stated this on Sunday. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz is blocking ten million barrels of oil daily. Current inventories can absorb a shorter conflict. However, a prolonged war will severely impact global growth and inflation. Solutions are urgently needed.
