WPL 2027 auction: UP Warriorz pick Sushma Verma for Rs 30 lakh as Uma Chetry, Taniya Bhatia go unsold

Sushma Verma was acquired by UP Warriorz for Rs 30 lakh during the Women's Premier League 2027 mini-auction. Several wicketkeepers and overseas fast bowlers, including Uma Chetry and Taniya Bhatia, went unsold. The auction had 146 players with 27 available slots across five teams. Many players previously associated with franchises failed to attract bids during this round. The franchises aimed to strengthen their rosters ahead of the upcoming season.
