Uber, Ola, Rapido drivers may face Marathi rule in Maharashtra

Maharashtra is extending its Marathi language learning rule to app-based cab and auto services. Drivers and riders with Uber, Ola, and Rapido will soon need to learn Marathi. The transport minister confirmed a policy is being prepared for these aggregators. This follows an extension for traditional taxi and auto drivers to learn the language by August 15.
