US midterms see few voting disruptions despite Trump's election interference concerns

Voting in this year's midterm elections occurred against uncertainties about President Trump's attempts to influence election results. Many Americans had cast their ballots early, but some polling places faced challenges due to weather conditions and equipment malfunctions. Election officials noted few significant issues overall, although ballot counting was delayed in certain areas. Trump's administration had been involved in legal disputes regarding election integrity, although courts blocked his efforts.
