US CENTCOM confirms destruction of Chabahar Port surveillance tower in Iran

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Friday (local time) that it had successfully destroyed a surveillance tower at Iran's Shahid Kalantari Port in Chabahar, claiming the facility was part of a maritime surveillance network operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to monitor commercial shipping in the Gulf of Oman, particularly along the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
