Thanksgiving week weather forecast 2026: Smooth skies for the East and Southeast, snow and rain could slow Midwest, Rockies and Northwest travellers

The Farmers Almanac long-range outlook for Thanksgiving week 2026 (Nov. 23-26) points to a typical late-November pattern, not a major nationwide storm. The East looks cool and dry, and the Southeast mild and sunny. Snow showers are possible in the Great Lakes, Upper Midwest, northern Plains and Rockies, while the Pacific Northwest should see rain.
