Stalin hails UGCs equity regulations as long-overdue reform amid backlash

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin welcomed new UGC equity regulations. He stressed the need to strengthen and revise these rules to address discrimination in higher education. Stalin highlighted a rise in student suicides, particularly among SC and ST students, since the BJP came to power.
