Speaker Om Biral gives 20 rebel TMC MPs time till October 20 to reply to petition

The Lok Sabha Speaker has allowed rebel Trinamool Congress MPs additional time until October 20 to respond. The MPs had previously requested an extension until October 22 but were granted until the 20th instead. They are seeking to be recognized as a separate political entity after rebelling against the party leadership. The Supreme Court urged the Speaker to expedite the petition regarding their disqualification.
