The filmmaker expressed regret and embarrassment over their fallout, which began following a legal dispute linked to Nayantharas wedding documentary. Shivan also looked back fondly on their time working together on the film Velaiilla Pattadhari (VIP). Despite the past tensions, he is now focused on his upcoming sci-fi romantic comedy Love Insurance Kompany, which is set for release on 10 April.
