SIR 'mischievous instrument' wielded by CEC to perpetuate 'diabolical' duo's rule: Congress

Congress claims that the Special Intensive Revision is being misused to unlawfully remove many genuine voters from electoral rolls. Jairam Ramesh alleges that this practice undermines the democratic principles outlined in Article 326 of the Constitution. The opposition has intensified protests, calling on the Chief Election Commissioner to resign over these actions. Reports indicate internal dissent within the Election Commission regarding the handling of the SIR process.
