SFI members, lawyers detained in Delhi ahead of CJP protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Members of the Students' Federation of India and other groups were detained while protesting in Delhi. They alleged irregularities in the electoral roll revision and demanded accountability from the Chief Election Commissioner. The police denied permission for the protest, citing security concerns and procedural issues. Heavy security measures were implemented across the capital, with thousands of personnel deployed. Several protesters reported being stopped before reaching their intended destination, Jantar Mantar.
