Rs 8.15 crore for 27 players: Why this is WPL's tightest auction yet

Five franchises will participate in a mini-auction to address their squad needs within a limited budget. UP Warriorz has the largest remaining amount of Rs 3.75 crore, followed by other teams with lower amounts. Teams face constraints with only 20 domestic and seven overseas slots available for recruitment. The auction aims to strengthen squads before the fifth Women's Premier League season starts.
