Renaming MGNREGA will cost lot of govt resources: Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has voiced strong opposition to reports of renaming the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Guarantee Act. She highlighted the significant government expenditure involved in such a change, deeming it unnecessary. Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi also criticized the move, calling it a distraction. The scheme provides guaranteed rural employment.
