Rangasamy meets Lieutenant Governor, stakes claim to form government in Puducherry

N Rangasamy, founder of AINRC, has staked claim to form the government in Puducherry. He met the Lieutenant Governor and presented a letter of support from assembly members. Rangasamy was re-elected as the leader of the Nationalist Democratic Alliance legislature party. The NDA secured a victory in the recent assembly polls, retaining power in the Union Territory.
