Punjab govt releases over Rs 1,400 crore under old-age pension scheme: Minister

Punjab's social security minister announced over Rs 1,423 crore disbursed for the old-age pension scheme. Approximately 23.77 lakh senior citizens across the state are currently receiving financial aid. The government has allocated Rs 4,000 crore for this welfare program this financial year.
