Punjab and Haryana HC slams action against doctor for not standing on MLAs arrival in emergency ward, imposes fine

The court termed the state's behavior insensitive and highly disturbing, directing the issuance of a no-objection certificate for the doctor's postgraduate studies and imposing Rs 50,000 costs on the state.
