Prashant Kishor to contest Bihar's Bankipur assembly bypoll on Jan Suraaj Party ticket

Prashant Kishor's Suraaj Party has nominated him as their candidate for the upcoming July 30 Bankipur assembly by-election in Bihar. This move comes after the seat was vacated by BJP's Nitin Nabin. The Janata Janshakti Dal has also put forward its candidate, while the BJP is reportedly considering several local leaders. Kishor's party faced a setback in the 2025 assembly elections.
