Petrol and diesel prices have reached their highest levels since May 2022, with a fresh hike of Rs 2.612.71 per litre announced on Monday, May 25, 2026. This marks the fourth increase in 11 days, bringing the cumulative rise to nearly Rs 7.5 per litre. The hikes are attributed to surging global crude oil prices following disruptions in shipments.
