Pakistan reopens Iran border crossing after week-long suspension of trade

The Gabd-Rimdan border crossing between Pakistan and Iran is back in action, after being closed for a week. This suspension had a significant impact, leading to supply disruptions and increased worries about LPG shortages just as winter sets in. With enhanced security measures now in place, local officials are optimistic that this reopening will ease the strain on traders affected by the border's temporary closure.
