PM Modi unveils statue of Assam's first CM Gopinath Bardaloi outside Guwahati airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled an impressive 80-foot statue of Assam's first chief minister, Gopinath Bardoloi. The statue stands outside the new terminal of the airport bearing his name in Guwahati. Renowned artist Ram Sutar sculpted this tribute. Sutar also created the statue of Ahom general Lachit Barphukan.
