Our life wont stop if we dont eat vada pav: Tukaram Mundhes reply to schoolboy seeking its return to canteens goes viral

A video of Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe responding to a schoolboys request to bring back vada pav in school canteens has gone viral on Instagram. Mundhe encouraged children to prioritise nutritious food and also cautioned against certain Chinese street food preparations. The exchange comes amid Maharashtras restrictions on foods high in fat, sugar and salt in school canteens and within 50 metres of school campuses.
