Non Sanatanis not allowed: Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee to restrict entry of non Hindus at 47 temples

The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee will restrict entry for non-Sanatan Dharma followers into 47 temples. This includes Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines. The decision aims to preserve the sanctity of the pilgrimage sites. The committee also approved a budget of Rs 121 crore for the Char Dham Yatra. Opening dates for the temples have been announced for the 2026 season.
