Myanmar cuts Aung San Suu Kyi sentence, frees former president

Myanmar's former leader Aung San Suu Kyi has had her sentence reduced. This comes as part of an amnesty granted by the new president. Suu Kyi was serving a lengthy jail term on various charges. The reduction is one-sixth of her sentence. It is not yet clear if she will be moved to house arrest.
