More than 8,800 cases admitted under IBC, creditors realise over Rs 4.11 lakh cr till Dec 2025

India's Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code has seen significant success. By December 2025, over 8,800 corporate insolvency cases were admitted. Creditors have recovered more than Rs 4.11 lakh crore through approved plans. Over 4,000 companies have been rescued. Recent amendments aim to further strengthen the framework and speed up resolutions.
