Majority of TMC MLAs will remain with Mamata: Sobhandeb amid split speculations

Senior Trinamool Congress leader Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay stated most party MLAs will stay with Mamata Banerjee. He alleged ruling party attempts to engineer defections and destabilize the opposition. Speculation of a breakaway faction led by expelled MLA Ritabrata Banerjee has intensified. Chattopadhyay maintained the party remains united and the old guard will retain control.
