MP govt to bear treatment costs for children affected by contaminated cough syrup

Madhya Pradesh government will cover all treatment costs for children suffering kidney infections from contaminated cough syrup. Fourteen children have died in Chhindwara due to suspected renal failure linked to the oxic Coldrif syrup. Authorities have suspended drug inspectors and arrested a doctor amid an ongoing investigation.
