Kerala schools reopen: New academic year begins with enthusiasm and global standards focus

Schools across Kerala reopened on Monday, marking the start of a new academic year. Students returned after a summer break to brightly painted classrooms and welcoming ceremonies with renewed enthusiam. Over 42 lakh students, including three lakh new Class 1 entrants, attended. The state government announced plans for Centres of Excellence and Centres of Scientific Temper to enhance education and promote scientific thinking.
